Tranquility rating ( comment ):
A little used public parking area on the edge of the village. The area is at the bottom of the gardens of a number of houses but this is not a place where disturbance is a problem !

Camping Spot Description
If your idea of a perfect night is to park up in a idylic rural village and partake of a beverage or three in a traditional British pub then look no further. Wellow is a small village a 15 minute drive South of the city of Bath. Not a lot happens here, but it looks very pretty and the Fox and Badger pub ( http://www.foxandbadger.co.uk/homeframeset.htm ) is a great place to enjoy a pint and a pub meal. The surrounding countryside is lovely, with great walks ( get the Ordanance Surevy Explorer map 5 ).
Getting There
Directions:
From Bath take the A367 signposted to Radstock. As you leave the built-up area, at the roundabout by the Odd Down Park & Ride, take the first exit and follow the signs to Wellow. Once in the village follow the signs to the free car park.
Access:
No problem with access for any vehicle, although I can imagine the locals might get a bit sniffy if you turned up in a huge RV.
