Camping Spot Description
The site is on an old mink farm which is now over grown. The views from the cliff top site are some of the best in the area. There is a road leading to what would have been the old farm gates then a short walk through the huts takes you to a clearing. Its an eerie, spooky place but handy for local shops. The nearest town is about 20 mins - half an hour on foot, 5 mins by car and has supermarkets etc. Apart from the odd dog walker it seems a quiet spot. No water - though Im sure there must be an old supply from the old mink farm days somewhere!
Getting There
Directions:
M62, J24 (Ainley Top), A629 (Elland), Left to Elland Centre, Left onto B6114 (Dewsbury Road), up steep hill, turn right into Pinfold Lane (just after Pinfold guest House), turn right onto Moor Hey Lane.
Access:

My wife and I love camping but never been outside the U.S. We were considering going over to London next summer for vacation so we will see if we can stop by this site. Hopefully our Garmin Nuvi 465t won't get us lost like it did last time. Thanks!
