Camping Spot Description
In a week of Dartmoor wild camping this was the best spot I found, you may not be able to find it though. There are three small car parks around the rocks and the middle one is is a dip about 6-7 feet deep. The road is right next to it, no cars past either night after sunset, but they would not have noticed us there. Was busy with tourist and dog walkers right up to sunset.
Getting There
Directions:
Good luck. Using a walkers / OS map; 1m north of Top Tor, 1m south of Honeybag Tor. Also just off the route between Haytor and Hounds Tor (an OK spot) Or 2m East of Widecombe-in-the-moor
Access:
Larger vehicles could use the southern carpark, but the middle carpark was fine in my Carry or a Transit
