Overview:
This is a hardstanding free car park right on the beach. There are no facilities here but a very cheap motorhome service point is available 2Km away in the village, (St. Vito lo Capo). A fresh bread van calls in a morning. Tents would have to go on the beach or grassy area adj. the car park.

Camping Spot Description
A public car park with no height barriers there is plenty of space, enough for 20 motorhomes plus. The nearby village has waste and water facilities. It was free to dump waste and toilets etc, but 3 Euros for fresh water, (no matter how big your tank). The spot itself is suitable in wet weather as it is a hard gravel surface that drains well. It would also take R.Vs without any problem. The aproach road is a tarmac surface. There were also waste skips provided, so please use them!
Getting There
Directions:
Get to Sicily! Then take E 90 to near Palermo, then the S187 through Castellamare d. Golfo until you see the sign post turning right for San Vito lo Capo. The camping spot is down to the left before you get to the village. You are bound to see someone parked there!
Access:
Very easy from the road. A proper tarmac road leads to the parking area. There are no gradients to speak of and no bumps or potholes to negotiate!

Cheyenne Tribe Thanks for the

Cheyenne Tribe

Thanks for the contribution. The coordinates needed to be in straight decimal degree format so they had to drop the N and E to be acceptable. I have re-entered them on your behalf and the camping spot now appears on the map. I have also amended the input form text so that it is clearer what format of coordinate is actually required.

I look forward to more sites like this.

Cheers
