Camping Spot Description

Our Park is located on a small peninsula at the estuary of Streamstown Bay, on a beautiful, private, white sandy Atlantic beach, opposite Omey Island near Claddaghduff Village, Clifden, Connemara. The park is uncommercialized, in an Area of Scientific Interest within a unique ecosystem, on a listed Priority EU Machair habitat site, which is rare in Europe and confined to the Western Seaboard of Ireland and Scotland. Our Park is a low density campsite on a "certified organic farm" with beautiful, private, panoramic, Atlantic seascape views. The campsite has all the attractions of "wild camping" with the safety and comforts of a modern caravan & camping park. The park has an excellent supply of fresh organic potable mineral water, which is extracted from its sand bearing soils.
